IDEAL FOR HIGH SPEED ASSEMBLY

FANUC robot M-3iA/6A is 6-axes robot with the motion capabilities of a human hand
FANUC robot M-3iA/6S is 4-axes robot with a high speed wrist axis for part rotation. The hollow wrist axis support internal routing of air hoses into the center of the gripper
Cycle time up to 0.3s (25mmx200mmx25mm and 0.1kg payload) can be achieved
Top access to the work pieces for easy programming and fast cycle times
Space saving installation
The FANUC robot M-3iA is designed for ceiling mounting above the workpiece, saving precious space
Low mass, compact size allow to design extremely compact robot cells
Space saving compact FANUC R-30iA Mate controller available

INTELLIGENT AND FLEXIBLE

6-axes motion can be execute complex 6D assembly tasks, such as soldering, glueing etc.
Integrated FANUC iRVision (option) can be mounted on the robot arm (base) and replace external parts feeders
FANUC Forces Sensor (option) can be connected for force guided assembly etc.

UNIQUE PARALLEL-LINK MECHANISM FOR HIGH SPEED FLEXIBLE OPERATIONS

The unique parallel-link structure provides higher speeds and accuracy compared to traditional assembly robots.
Compared to conventional robots the cylindrical work envelope makes motion distances shorter and cycle times faster
The robot is normally installed above the work piece granting fast and easy access to the work piece from the top.
A three-axis wrist makes it extremely flexible e.g. in order to tilt and insert pcbs, e.g. for soldering and many more complex tasks.
A robot variation with high speed one-axis wrist is available for high speed picking and assembly
